Today, The Black Church Food Security Network announces our Faith, Food & Freedom Summer campaign. We’re calling on Black Churches across the nation to promote gardening, patronize Black farmers, and practice emergency food preparedness for your family and community. In celebration of #Juneteenth and this national call to action, today we are awarding micro-grants to a total of $5,000 to Black Churches across the United States that are committed to the mission of creating a Black-led food system.
We can weaken the system of racism and White Supremacy by not ordering from its menu! We are people of the land. We have what we need to build a just system of our own.
