Conscious Heads Barbering Bootcamp

Conscious Heads Barbering Boot Camp is an apprentice program aimed at teaching the trade of barbering to Black youth 16-24 years of age.

The program will prepare students to become great and reliable apprentice barbers. Conscious Heads Barbering Boot Camp offers a unique experience which affords youth and opportunity to learn the trade of barbering which can lead to meaningful employment. Through a 75-hour course/workshops, aspiring barbers will gain skills needed to become an apprentice. Once the workshops are over, barbers will be referred to master barbers to continue training to sit for state licensure. Conscious Heads Barbering Boot Camp will serve 6-10 students. The courses/workshops are offered twice each week. This model is ideal for students who can’t afford the cost of a traditional barbering school.
