Description

Teaching life skills through culinary arts, while also exposing learners to the endless opportunities in the food and beverage industry.

We focus on making the maximum positive effort for our community. Our members and volunteers provide the momentum that helps us affect change. Using data driven models, we provide solutions that make a long-lasting difference.

Strategic Goals

  • Transform a community space into a commercial kitchen where we will be able to teach children, young adults, and ex-offenders about culinary arts.
  • Equip students with the culinary skills needed to become employees within Transition Kitchen and obtain employment via job placement through staffing partnerships.
In 2015, Food Network Alum Celebrity Chef Robert Stewart saw a need for job training programs in the City of Baltimore and with the rising poverty rates throughout the previous years, he formed the non-profit organization to provide sensible solutions to help the community where he was born and raised. The organization is headquartered in Baltimore, Md and is planning on expanding to other major cities throughout the United States in the near future. With the help of volunteers and donations from across the U.S., the organization has opened its doors.
