The Mission:

Spiritual Living by Che™ (dba for Che Yoga LLC), founded in 2017, is a spiritually-inspired and social enterprise that is guided by principles of overall spiritual and social health of our community in all of its business operations. SLC strives to uphold its spiritual and social commitments by considering the spiritual and social impacts of all of its operations, community and business relations, products, services, pricing, packaging, and delivery.

Our mission is to support the spiritual health and wellness of our community by offering spiritual care products and services that speak directly to the many cultural and social epidemics that threaten human lives, animal lives, and our planet.

Spiritual Living by Che works towards this mission by encouraging our community to 1) strengthen our bodies, discipline our minds, and deepen our spiritual connection with the Creator as a means of achieving personal growth and resiliency; 2) develop community strength to stand against destructive cultural and social systems, and 3) create a more nurturing, balanced, and peaceful society.

We invite you to deepen your spiritual practice with us by exploring our Spiritual Care Collection which includes Spiritual Care Kits, Spirit, Mind, & Body items, and Spiritual Services & Events (which includes NeoSoul Yoga and Soul Yoga classes, Spiritual Healing & Activism Workshops, and our upcoming Spiritual & Cultural Events).

Sending you love and hugs on your spiritual path!

The Founder:

Dea Lott, J.D., RYT-200, Y12SR, PYP
Founder, Che Yoga LLC d/b/a Spiritual Living by Che
Founder, Yoga for Resilience against Injustice & Spiritual Healing & Activism Workshops

Dea began exploring spiritual practices and natural remedies almost two decades ago and since that time she has gradually centered her life around spiritual philosophy and spiritual practices.

Dea owes her ability to persevere beyond generational trauma, mental illness, poverty, violence, racism, discrimination, and oppression in her personal and professional life to her faith in God, her daily spiritual practices, and a loving support system. Through her spiritual practices, she found and continues to experience personal growth, comfort during life challenges, relief from mental, emotional, and physical distress, and a deeper relationship with God.

Each and every product and service offered in the Spiritual Care Collection is directly inspired by the many lessons and practices that she has acquired along her spiritual journey.

Dea completed a 200-hour yoga teacher training at Yoga District in Washington, D.C. She is a certified Yoga Alliance yoga teacher (RYT-200) and she holds CPR, BLS, and AED certifications. Dea has trauma-informed training certifications from the Prison Yoga Project (PYP) and the Yoga of 12-Step Recovery (Y12SR). She was recently accepted into the Satchidananda Ashram’s Integral Yoga Academy where she will focus on Raja Yoga as she works toward her 500-hour and yoga therapy certifications. Dea also independently studies the cosmologies and spiritual practices of indigenous people around the world.

Before creating Che Yoga LLC/Spiritual Living by Che, Dea spent a decade working with impoverished and oppressed communities of color as an attorney (licensed and inactive in Indiana and Washington, D.C.) in state and federal courts, government agencies, and non-profit legal services organizations. She has held positions as an adjunct law professor, legal supervisor, legal and advocacy trainer, and organizer in Indianapolis, IN and Washington, DC.

Dea is also a trained anti-racism advocate and facilitative mediator with experience developing and conducting trainings in diversity, inclusion, and anti-racism principles and she previously served on numerous committees focused on these areas during her legal career.
