When Children Write Claimed

In March 2018 I created a program under my publishing company called, When Children Write. I saw the issue most kids were facing with literacy. Many schools are focusing on STEM, which is great, but what if they can’t read. I started this program as a way to fight the problem head on. How will we do that? Through our after school programs and private sessions, I teach kids the process of writing and publishing their own book. I walk them through the entire process of writing and publishing a book. During the classes we talk about the importance of reading and writing. We discuss the editing process, book cover, chapter placement and more.
